From going out on a Sunday afternoon to staying positive when things didn't go our way, you always did more than I expected. You helped me feel confident in the process, especially when there was bad news. Even if things would have gone smoother with the short sale process, I don't think the experience, over all, could have been any better.

As a first time home buyer, buying a house on your own can be an incredibly stressful experience. I was being given referrals from friends and colleagues for real estate agents, and the ones I had contacted gave limited availability and promised they would get to know me so well, they would only need to show 3-4 houses and I would fall in love with at least one of them. This made me extremely nervous knowing how many homes were on the market. It had been two months that my house was "For Sale by Owner" and there had been some interest, but no potential buyers. I already had a deposit down on the new house I was building, which I could not afford to lose, and the date of completion was closing in fast. We are David and Shirley from Seminole, Florida. We live on the West Coast of Florida. We owned a condominium in the U.C.F. area of Orlando. Our condo was listed with another realtor for five months. The unit showed minimal action. We decided to change realtors and chose Rick Mennie of Keller Williams because he has sold other condo units in our complex.
The job of selling a condominium in today's market is not an easy task. Rick worked hard networking the condo. The results paid off. More potential buyers had viewed the condo in the first few weeks than had in the entire time it was listed with the other Realtor. Rick was able to secure a contract for a potential sale.
The course between the signing of the contract and closing was rocky because of the status of the market. Rick worked diligently with the buyer's realtor and us. He kept us updated daily. At one point we thought the deal might not go through. Rick was already working on plan “B”.
We never resorted to plan “B” because our condo did sell.
